Latte art is something that fascinates me, I think it’s so awesome how a barista can turn your typical steamed milk and expresso into a work of art. After a quick google search, I found that Charmington’s in Charles Village not only has latte art, but great reviews about their food as well. So a friend and I headed over to Charmington’s for coffee and a quick bite to eat.
When we got there, obviously the first thing I did was order a latte because that was the reason behind our visit. The coffee was delicious, they brew Counter Culture coffee which I already knew I was a fan of so the latte of course didn’t fall short of my expectations.
We also each ordered something to eat. My friend ordered a Bagel with Cream Cheese. I’m from New York originally so I am a little bit of a bagel snob and don’t order them just anywhere, but my friend liked her bagel very much.
I ordered the BLT and added Turkey and Avocado to it. The sandwich came with oven roasted turkey, bacon, garlic aioli and avocado. All of the ingredients were very fresh and the sandwich came together nicely.
While we only came to Charmington’s for the coffee, we throughly enjoyed everything we ordered and cannot wait to back for another meal.
Charmington’s is located at 2601 N Howard St., in Charles Village.
