Cafe Andamiro has been on my radar for quite some time now. This cute Mount Vernon cafe opened up about a year ago and it looks like the perfect spot to grab a quick bite. On one of those lovely Sunday mornings we have been having, I found myself without a single item on my agenda and I decided to finally check it out.

Cafe Andamiro
I can’t believe I waited this long, the space is too cute and everything was delish. I didn’t get to try any of the Korean specialties so I’ll for sure come back soon for bulgogi.
I started the meal with an Almond Croissant. When I saw all of their pastries came from Patisserie Poupon, well I knew I needed to order something. The croissant had a sticky glaze and plenty of nutty filling. It was delicious.

The real star was the Avocado Toast. It was a trio of three different varieties and I couldn’t tell you which was my favorite. The one topped with cilantro was super bright and fresh which I loved. While the one topped with crushed red pepper had all the heat I crave in almost everything I eat. And he one topped with hard boiled eggs made this dish feel more like breakfast than a snack. It was a hit.

Of course, I also tried a Latte (my preferred coffee drink). Cafe Andamiro uses beans from PT’s coffee which I’m not familiar with. They’re based out of Kansas and we’re super delicious.
