For a while, I had been hearing about a Hawaiian restaurant in Fallston called Uncle’s. Harford County is a bit of a drive for me but my girlfriend and I were heading to Philly for the weekend so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to try it out.

We started with the Lomi Salmon from the poke bar. This was incredibly fresh and over a firecracker aioli. I would have preferred more heat – I think I always prefer more heat. But it was a great bite.

We also tried the Pipeline Potstickers. They were nicely fried and packed with flavor, but the real highlight was the onion jam they were served with. It gave the dish a nice bite and really balanced all of the flavors.

For her entree, my girlfriend ordered the Uncle’s Mix Plate. The plate comes with three different meats: grilled shrimp, pulled chicken, and beef teriyaki. All of the proteins were seriously delicious, but her favorite was the pulled chicken. The sauce was sweet and really stood out.

For my entree, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tacos. The tuna poke was served in an egg roll taco shell with corn, tomato, avocado, and a creamy spicy sauce. Again, this was super fresh and I was seriously in love with every bite.

We also, ordered a side of Grilled Pineapple. I love grilled pineapple so we just couldn’t turn down the opportunity to order some to finish off our meal.
