I love Italian food. So finding great Italian places (casual ones included) is always a great feeling. Enter, Squisito Pizza + Pasta. They’re a small fast casual franchise with six locations (and more coming soon) in the greater Baltimore region.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for dinner recently and this meal was awesome. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we may have ordered too much food (we ordered way too much food) but then we had leftovers!

Garlic Knots are one of my favorite things so when we saw regular and pepperoni garlic knots, we needed an order of these stat. They were so buttery + garlicky and had the perfect amount of doughy-ness.

One of my favorite bites that we ordered was the Meatballs. They were some of the juiciest I have ever had and they were so unbelievably tender. These meatballs were topped with Feta crumbles which added a nice saltiness to the dish and they were seriously amazing.

Possibly my favorite dish that we ordered was the Baked Ziti. The amount of cheese in this dish was on point. And I really loved the Squisito sauce that the pasta was in. It was mostly tomato based but you could taste a little bit of the cream in this dish and it was so decadent. We could not get enough and it tasted seriously fantastic the next day for lunch.

The last thing we ordered was the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, New York style. The pizza had a nice kick and had plenty of crispy, spicy, buffalo chicken. There was also some raw celery which gave the pizza a nice crunch and I really appreciated that. And of course, no buffalo chicken dish is complete with a perfect ranch drizzle.
