Summertime is hands-down my favorite season for produce. Farmers market mornings always lead to me buying peaches by the bushel (and usually plums, tomatoes, and anything else that looks too good to pass up). Most of the time, I end up snacking on my haul or tossing it into meals throughout the week. But when the temperature rises, there’s nothing more relaxing than hanging outside with a cold drink in hand.

When I’m lounging poolside, I want a cocktail that’s refreshing, flavorful, and effortless. Having a recipe that can be prepped ahead of time and served in under five minutes is key — because the last thing anyone wants to do is play bartender all afternoon.
Enter the Spicy Peach Margarita — the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and boozy.

This recipe highlights the best of summer produce — juicy peaches and spicy jalapeños — plus a touch of Domino® Golden Sugar. I love using this sugar because it’s less processed than traditional white sugar and adds a subtle molasses note that really deepens the flavor.
Midsummer peaches are perfectly sweet and juicy on their own, but adding a little heat from a jalapeño simple syrup gives the drink an irresistible kick. The combo of sweet fruit, fiery spice, and zesty lime makes this margarita the ultimate poolside refreshment.

A margarita is the perfect way to showcase all the sweet, spicy, and salty flavors that make summer cocktails shine.

And the best part? This recipe is totally customizable:
- Swap peaches for watermelon, pineapple, or berries when the season changes.
- Not into tequila? Try vodka or gin for a fun twist.
However you make it, it’s guaranteed to be a hit.

If you need me, I’ll be outside — three margaritas deep, soaking up the sun, and living my best life.

Recipe Notes
If you don’t have time to make your own peach juice, you can buy some at your local supermarket – just be mindful of how sweet the juice is when you’re mixing in the rest of the cocktail ingredients
If the simple syrup is too spicy, you can swap for a more mild pepper – to make the simple syrup spicier, either steep for longer or mix in hotter peppers
