Rooftop Dining at 16 On The Park Baltimore

Experience rooftop dining in Baltimore at 16 On The Park. From lobster mac n’ cheese and flat iron steak to Smith Island Cake and creative cocktails, this Upper Fells spot is a must-visit.

When I got the invitation to check out Baltimore’s newest rooftop restaurant, 16 On The Park, I was beyond excited. Rooftop dining spots are a rare gem in Baltimore, and this addition brings some much-needed variety to the area. The space opened in October and offers a more elevated dining experience compared to the fast-casual, lunch-focused options around Hopkins.

Charcuterie is one of my all-time favorite starters, so of course, I kicked things off with a massive charcuterie board alongside Kim (@nomtasticfoods). The board was absolutely impressive—packed with a variety of meats and cheeses that were both flavorful and beautifully presented. Trust me, the picture barely does it justice!

Next up, we dove into the Lobster Mac N Cheese. Creamy, cheesy noodles combined with generous chunks of fresh lobster made this dish an instant standout. Hands down, one of the best lobster macs I’ve ever had—don’t skip this one.

You know I can’t resist Brussels sprouts, and the ones at 16 On The Park did not disappoint. Tossed in a spicy soy glaze, these had just the right amount of heat and were crispy, flavorful, and completely addictive.

Continuing the lobster streak, we ordered the Lobster Roll. Picture huge, fresh chunks of lobster tucked into a buttery toasted roll, served with a side of fries. It was as dreamy as it sounds—rich, meaty, and perfect for any seafood lover.

For a hearty main, we shared the Flat Iron Steak, cooked beautifully to perfection. Tender, juicy, and full of flavor, this steak was another winner and a great complement to all the other dishes.

No Maryland dining experience is complete without Smith Island Cake, the state’s official cake. Layers of moist chocolate cake and rich chocolate frosting made this dessert a chocolate lover’s dream.

16 On The Park also boasts an extensive cocktail menu. We tried a few selections, including Laid Back and Smoke on the Water, and were thoroughly impressed. Can’t wait to work our way through the rest of the menu on the next visit!
