When you’re lounging on the sand during a summer day in Bethany Beach, there’s nothing better than heading to the boardwalk for a quick snack. After a long afternoon in the sun and surf, the Bethany Beach boardwalk is packed with classic beach treats that are perfect for refueling.
If you’re visiting the Delaware shore this summer, here are a few of my favorite boardwalk snacks in Bethany Beach. These are the spots I return to again and again after a day at the beach.
Bethany Beach
No trip to Bethany Beach is complete without a stop at Fisher’s Popcorn. Snacking on warm caramel corn while relaxing by the ocean is one of the most classic experiences you can have on the Eastern Shore.
The caramel popcorn is perfectly sweet, crunchy, and completely addictive. My advice? Always order the largest tub possible. Not only will you enjoy it on the beach, but you’ll also have plenty left for the ride home.
For many visitors, Fisher’s Popcorn is practically a Bethany Beach tradition.

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a serious love for fries. A big bucket of fries while strolling along the boardwalk is my idea of perfection.
When I’m in Bethany Beach, my go-to spot is DB’s Fries. The line here is often out the door, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. Their fries are crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and served with the skins on for extra flavor.
My favorite way to enjoy them? A generous drizzle of malt vinegar for that salty, tangy kick.

No beach boardwalk would be complete without ice cream. And while there are plenty of options in Bethany Beach, I almost always gravitate toward Kohr Bros Frozen Custard.
I’m a big fan of soft serve in a cone, and Kohr Bros delivers every time. Their frozen custard is incredibly creamy, and the classic chocolate and vanilla twist is hard to beat—especially when topped with sprinkles.
It’s the perfect cool treat after spending the day in the summer sun.
