There are few things I love as much as BBQ. Smokey tender brisket, sweet and slightly spicy sauce, and all the delicious sides – my mouth is watering now just thinking about it! So I was thrilled to find out that my Southwest sponsored trip to Cincinnati included a stop at Just Q’In in Walnut Hills.

Just Q’In
Just Q’In has all of your traditional BBQ options: ribs, brisket, chicken, creamy mac and cheese, and cornbread.

BBQ Platter
The brisket was tender; melt in your mouth good. It had a wonderful smoky taste and is exactly what you want in BBQ. Order this when you visit – trust me!

Brisket
The pulled chicken was also a winner, it was super moist and absorbed all of the flavor of the BBQ sauce. – which was super smokey and sweet. I could not get enough.

Pulled Chicken
You guessed it, I was also a fan of the cornbread. It came with a nice honey drizzle which made this sticky-sweet cornbread some of the best I’ve had.

Cornbread
Lastly, we tried some of the creamy mac and cheese. Oh my this stuff was good, ooey-gooey and perfect when you got a bite of brisket, BBQ sauce, and mac and cheese. My mouth is watering just thinking about that.

Mac and Cheese
Because all good food deserves to be washed down with an even better drink, we washed down our ‘que with Kentucky Bourbon Ale. This beer is brewed in bourbon barrels has about an 8% abv. It’s strong but an amazing companion for your BBQ.
