Fells Point

French Pastries at Sacre Sucre Baltimore

French pastries are some of my absolute favorites, so I had been anxiously waiting for Sacre Sucre to open in Fells Point. When the bakery finally opened its doors on Fell Street, I couldn’t wait to stop by and see what they had to offer. The space itself immediately caught my eye — bright, clean, and minimal in a way that really lets the pastries take center stage.

After work one evening, I stopped in to pick up dessert for my friend and me. Walking up to the pastry case made it very clear that narrowing down an order would not be easy. Everything looked incredible, and I may have gone a little overboard trying to choose what to bring home.

Macarons

I originally wanted to try every single macaron in the case, but showed a little restraint and settled on six flavors instead. Each one was packed with flavor, which I really appreciated. Sometimes macarons can lean a little subtle, but these definitely delivered.

Of the ones I tried, the lemon macaron stood out as my favorite. The bright citrus flavor was perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the shell and filling. It’s the kind of treat that makes you immediately start planning your next visit to try the rest of the flavors.

Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn Éclair

The bakery also had several éclairs available, and the Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn version caught my attention right away. The pastry itself was on the softer side, while the kettle corn on top added a fun crunch that contrasted nicely with the filling. The sweet-and-salty combination worked beautifully, and honestly I wish I had ordered a second one.

S’mores Travel Cake

Lastly, I tried the S’mores Travel Cake. The graham cracker cake had a marshmallow core surrounded by chocolate, which sounded like a dream combination. While the flavors were definitely there, the cake itself was a bit denser than I expected. Even so, it still had all the classic s’mores flavors that make the dessert so nostalgic.
