Fells Point: Sacre Sucre

French pastries are some of my favorite so I’ve been anxiously awaiting for Sacre Sucre to open in Fells Point. The space just opened up on Fleet and I’m in love with the clean look they have going on in there.

I stopped by after work to pick up some dessert for my friend and I and I maybe went a little overboard with the ordering because everything looked so delicious. While I wanted to try all of the macarons, I opted for only 6. They were each packed with their respective flavors which I really appreciated. Sometimes, I find that macarons can be a little light on flavor. Of the ones I tried, my favorite was the lemon. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest.

They also had a few delicious looking Eclairs and I opted for the Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn. The pastry was on the softer side and the popcorn added a nice contrast of textures with the crunch. It was also freaking delicious. It was salty, and sweet and I wish I orderd a second one.

Lastly, I ordered the S’mores Travel Cake.  The graham cracker cake had a marshmallow core and was surrounded by chocolate. It has all the makings of something completely drool-worthy, but I found it to be a little more dense than I would have liked.
