When you’re craving classic pub food — no frills, no fuss, just good eats, cold beer, and the game on TV — Delia Foley’s in Federal Hill absolutely delivers. Located right on Charles Street, this neighborhood bar is a go-to for locals looking for a casual spot to unwind, grab a drink, and enjoy some seriously good wings.

During a recent Orioles game, my friend and I decided to stop by Delia Foley’s for dinner, drinks, and baseball. The bar was buzzing with fans, the TVs were tuned in to the game, and the atmosphere was perfectly laid-back.
We grabbed a table, ordered a couple of beers, and dove straight into the menu
We started with the Soft Pretzel Nuggets, served with spicy mustard and a cheesy dipping sauce. While the pretzels were a little oily (which made the sauce slide off), they reminded us of Auntie Anne’s — buttery, salty, and totally addictive.

Next up were the Curly Fries — though these were more like lightly curled potato wedges. Even though they weren’t the traditional curly fries I expected, they were crispy, golden, and perfect for dipping into the leftover sauces from the pretzels.

And then came the real star of the show: the wings.
Delia Foley’s is known for its wings — and for good reason. With 30 sauces to choose from, it took us a minute to decide, but we ultimately went with the Oriole Sauce. This blend of sweet BBQ and just the right amount of spice hit the perfect balance. The wings were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, with extra sauce left for dipping the fries. They were easily some of the best wings I’ve had in Baltimore.

If you’re looking for the best wings in Federal Hill, along with solid pub food and a great game-day atmosphere, Delia Foley’s is the place to go. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, grab a beer, and enjoy good food without any pretense.
