Breakfast Bliss at Ceremony Coffee in Baltimore

An egg sandwich is one of my absolute favorite things to eat for breakfast, and luckily, Baltimore has no shortage of great coffee shops serving up delicious morning bites. One of my favorites, Ceremony Coffee, first opened in Mount Vernon and has since expanded to Harbor Point and Federal Hill. Known for their beautifully roasted coffee and creative breakfast options, Ceremony Coffee is the perfect spot to enjoy a slow morning or get some work done with a great cup of coffee in hand.

I started my morning with a latte, which was unsurprisingly delicious—smooth, balanced, and complete with the signature latte art Ceremony is known for. The espresso had just the right amount of bitterness, and the milk was steamed to perfection. It’s clear that every cup here is crafted with care and passion for the bean.

For breakfast, I ordered the Poached Egg Toast—thick-cut whole wheat bread topped with bacon jam, smashed avocado, a perfectly poached egg, and feta. While it’s not your classic breakfast sandwich, it hits all the right notes. The salty-sweet bacon jam complements the creamy avocado, and that runny egg yolk ties everything together beautifully. Every bite felt indulgent yet balanced—exactly what I want in a morning meal.
