With Cinco de Mayo just a few days away, my friend and I decided to visit one of our favorite Mexican spots to get into the spirit. Tortilleria Sinaloa is located in Upper Fells Point on a street with a few hole-in-the-wall looking spots. However, we had heard great reviews so we decided to give this place a whirl.
The first dish we heard wonderful things about was the Tortilla Chips. They’re made fresh in the back and they are hands down the best chips we have ever tried. Whenever my roommate and I entertain, we stop at Tortilleria Sinaloa to pick up a bag of chips because they are that good!
The chips wouldn’t be as amazing though if there was nothing to dip them in. We ordered the Guacamole and were not disappointed.
My friend ordered the Cheese Quesadilla for her meal. It was stuffed with cheese and came with a side of beans. There was nothing special about the quesadilla, but it was wonderful nonetheless.
I decided to try two of their tacos. The Chicken Taco was so flavorful and juicy and tasted great with some guacamole spread on top. I would definitely go back for more of this.
For my second taco, I ordered the Steak Taco. While this one was still wonderful, the steak was a little dry and could have used more marinade. A quick spread of some guacamole and salsa fixes that and it was still very delicious.
The entire meal was under $20 making the food a great deal in addition to being wonderful. If you’re looking for some great Mexican food in a spot you would normally drive right by, make sure to stop at Tortilleria Sinaloa!
Tortilleria Sinaloa is located at 1716 Eastern Ave in Upper Fells Point

I have been using a lot of their take out, when I make fish tacos! I need to stop in for dinner.
Whenever I’m hosting anything, I pick up their chips to serve. Better than anything in the supermarket
