Lately, one of my go to spots in Mount Vernon has been Wet City. Not only is the rotating beer selection fantastic but the food consistently impresses me. Before seeing a show, my girlfriend and I needed something to eat (and of course, a drink).

The tap list changes regularly, so I always use this as an opportunity to try a new beer. If you’re having trouble choosing from the expansive list, the bartenders are very knowledgeable and can help you choose. The best beer for you.

We decided to start with the Soft Pretzels with Cheese Sauce. These were awesome, the pretzels were nice and soft with a nice chew to them and the sauce was thick and cheesy. A perfect combo.

My girlfriend ordered the Hot Chicken and omg was this delicious. The chicken was expertly fried giving it a crispy exterior with a juicy interior. It also had a good bit of heat that was tempered by the slaw. I almost always order this when I’m at Wet City.

On this visit, I ordered one of my other favorites, the No Temp Deluxe Burger. It’s called no temp because it’s a smash burger and it’s one of the best I’ve had. The two patties were topped with melted American cheese, shaved red onions, lettuce, and pickles. This is probably one of my favorite burgers in Baltimore.
