A few weeks ago, a friend and I stumbled into R&R Taqueria in a strip mall in Baltimore County while looking for a quick bite. As soon as we walked in, the walls covered with newspaper articles caught our attention — clearly, this place has been recognized for its flavorful Mexican cuisine. We were excited to dig in, and everything we ordered did not disappoint.

A little later, I convinced a group of friends to join me for lunch at what I affectionately call “the greasy Mexican spot near White Marsh.” Once again, we were thrilled by the menu.

We started with quesadillas, and each one was a hit. The chicken quesadilla was loaded with tender chicken and melted cheese, delightfully indulgent and messy in the best way. The steak quesadilla was just as satisfying, packed with juicy steak and gooey cheese, while the cheese quesadilla was simple, classic, and received an enthusiastic thumbs up from everyone at the table.

For my main dish, I went with tacos. The carne asada taco was perfectly juicy and flavorful, with fresh toppings that complemented the meat beautifully.

I also ordered a chicken taco, which had the same delicious toppings and was just as satisfying. Both tacos were filling and hit the spot, making me certain I’d order the same combination again next time.
