Annapolis: Grumps Cafe
A friend and I had breakfast plans in Annapolis. I live in Baltimore, so I left the restaurant choice up to her. The only requirement? It couldn’t suck. She had been wanting to try Grump’s Cafe, of course I was game.

Unfortunately, Tooloulou is now closed. Belvedere Square is one of my favorite places to stop for lunch. The market is always bustling with patrons at the many vendors and there are so many options! On this particular day the sandwiches at Tooloulou were exactly what I was craving.
If you ask around for the best pizza in Baltimore, I’m sure more than one person will mention Matthew’s Pizza in Highlandtown. Matthew’s has been a city institution since 1943 serving old-world (deep dish) style pizza. My friend loves Our House which serves the same style of pizza as Matthew’s. In an effort to […]

A friend and I were craving donuts, but not the type of donuts that are handcrafted in a hipster paradise. We wanted the type of donuts from a bakery that has been in business for decades and changed hands from one family member to another. A quick search brought me […]

There’s no shortage of coffee shops in Baltimore, that’s for sure. However, for the most part they’re located in Hampden or Mount Vernon, unfortunately, there are very few in Federal Hill. Fortunately for me, 3 Bean Coffee just opened in Federal Hill and they brew Counter Culture Coffee which is […]
My friend and I were in the mood for brunch on a recent Sunday morning. We were looking for something we could walk to and I was craving eggs. We decided to check out Southside Diner in Locust Point because they specialize in all-day breakfast. The fact that they specialize […]
Update: La Tolteca is now closed I have a group of friends that really enjoys Mexican Food. To the point where I think whenever we get together, it is for tacos, burritos, or something of the like. I had heard mixed reviews about La Tolteca in Canton but it was […]
